Built around the people you choose

Calls come first

Voice and video are at the heart of Auris. Adaptive media and connection recovery are built to help a conversation keep going as the network changes.

Your identity starts on your device

Your iPhone creates your Auris ID and private keys. You can connect without giving Auris a phone number, email address or address book. Share an ID, QR code or invitation with the people you want to reach.

Privacy you can shape

Choose invitation-only discovery, relay your calls, verify a contact, and decide what notifications reveal. Protect local history with biometrics, an Auris passphrase, or both.

Encryption with the future in mind

Auris combines classical and post-quantum key material and evolves conversation keys over time. The design aims to protect conversations recorded today against future quantum attacks.

What we are working toward

We want private communication to feel effortless: a call you look forward to making, an identity you choose to share, and meaningful control over what you leave behind.

That means investing in call reliability, reducing the information needed to deliver a conversation, and making the technology easier to inspect. Our research explores stronger authentication, continuity and more private access patterns. These are directions we are pursuing; each research page identifies what has been established so far.
